I've been using it for quite some now, but now all of the sudden while it's running my computer will restart on its own. The percentages of the dvd burn process is at various times when this happens. Other times it'll go through just fine.......but needless to say this is becoming a real headache and a waste of dvds. If anyone has any idea on what's going on, please let me know!! Thanks!!

I hope its not your power supply . DVD burners use a good amount of power to burn .Check you power cords on your PC and try a different outlet in your house not on the same breaker and check your surge protector (power strip) yes they do go bad a average home will get 1,100 surges a year.

    Jakimmi ,
Along w/ what rbrock stated look at your internal fans to make sure that they are working as that symptom is also caused by a computer overheating

Your right on CarMike PC's suck up a ton of dust in no time at all. I just fond a great PC tower last mo. on the curb and all I did to it to make it run was clean the dust out of it the CPU was full of dust and over heating .
