hi I backup my dvd using clone dvd 2. it does the copy which took 4 hours to write. Burned it on to a 4.7 blank dvd-r. played it on 1st dvd player, every thing was going ok like the quality was good and every think was working until it freezed, then it worked and then frozed. I was so angry. so i tried it on my 2nd dvd player watched it for 25mins and well every thing was ok.i checked the normal dvd which i copyed from and that worked fine on the the 1st dvd player. what am i doing wrong. reader34
Unbranded & cheap media often have the habit of exhibiting the symptoms you are describing, though not always. I would be tempted to spend a little more money on a better quality disk (EG Ritek "Branded", verbatim, Ridata) and hopefully your problem will vanish like a fart in a hurricane. Blank DVD-r is not as forgiving as CD-r, you have to be far more careful in choosing the RIGHT media for the job. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]On Initial Viewing My Backup Looked Terrible, But With One Eye Closed It Aint Half Bad!![/small]
Datwrite ritek are better...but you really should go for Ritek grade A media. (Ritek "Branded"..I swear by them) Try this link below :- http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/FOR_DVD_R_RW_CLICK_HERE.html

Sometimes you get a bad disc or two in a pack of disc's you buy.If you ripped it right Clone will do the rest so it will more than likely be a bad media.
hi thanks for the help.man those discs ave made a huge inprovement.so is it true that the first two discs u burn ant too good, but they get better and better. reader34
