when starting the computer the light on the drive comes on, it opens and closes, and when i insert a disc i even get the little disc by the cursor, but then nothing. if i just go to the drive via my computer it shows drive empty. in device manager it has the drive listed, but there is no exclamation point or anything. i can't get the drive to do anything. at first it wouldn't read certain discs, so i would read from my other dvd drive then burn through this one, but now i cannot do anything. on bootup i am getting and some ide error, could this be realted? thanks!
