Problem with menu

I know how to convert the files etc. But my problem is that when i want to play the movie on a dvd player, i don't want it to go straight to the menu, i want a few pictures to show first (like a slideshow) and then go on to the menu.

 

What are you using to author the DVD?

 

i'm using nerovision express right now, however if another software can do it please let me know.

 

Set up multiple movies in NVE.
Each one doesn't have to be an actual movie, it can be a picture. Have each picture link to the next.
I think NVE can handle this.
If not, something like DVDLab will do it very easily.

that did work, but also does anuone know how to put text instead of thumbnails as chapters on nerovision express.
