Problem with Nero Burning a 2 CD Avi File

Hey guys,

I have an OEM of Nero, I'm thinking 6, and it does just fine burning avi files that play with my dvd player that supports the data file disk to read the files..

I'm having trouble with a files that is split into 2 parts so that they are under 700mb. It burns the disk no problems but when put into the dvd player says it is an unknown format....

All other data disks work just fine.....

Any ideas or suggestions on whats causing this?

Note - it works fine when it says there is not enough space on this disk unless it is finalized, I hit yes with the other avi files and have no problems....

Should join the 2 parts into one, Avidemux will do it in a couple of minutes.
You have to see if there's anything different about the AVI files that work and the ones that don't...could be packed bitstream,QPEL...Use MediaInfo to get the info on the files.

 

Thanks Cyprusrom, only dvd burner broke and using a drive that only will burn to cd's
