I just bought a new ECS 945PL-A mobo and new ram, new processor, and new video card, but when I hooked it all up, it doesnt send a signal to my monitor. The fans run and I can hear the hard drive run and the dvd rom opens and closes. I dont know why the mobo wont send the signal to my monitor.

    Any ideas?

make sure the screen is plugged into the graphics card not the motherboard because most of the time graphics cards disable the motherboard's screen output

I have tried 2 different video cards. The monitor just goes into power save mode and the keyboard doesnt even light up when I hit number lock.

Try it without the graphics card installed and just plug it in to the motherboard

and when you were using the graphics cards were you plugging the screen into the motherboard or into the graphics card
