    Hi!

I have gotten a new 42" tv from Philips and am so happy! =D
I have played Gamecube and some original PS2 games on it and it works fine. But when i tried a burned Ps2 games the screen went green. nooo!
And after some research it seems as it´s only the NTSC games that doesn´t work.

And now while i writed this my friend did find out that Animal Crossing NTSC version didn´t work either.

I live in Sweden so i use the PAL systems.
And i use the scart connection.
And this is the TV i use have the model number 50PF9966/12

Hope someone have any tips, this is no fun with the new TV.

there are two ways to fix this, either your tv can accept both 50 hz and 60 hz signals or your game system must be modified. you should check to see if your tv can accept 60hz signals, if it can, make it.

if not, the only other way i can think of is that your ps2 must be modded correct? thats the only way you can play backup/import games. in that case, you need to see what type of mod chip it is. if it is a matrix infinity (this is the one i have) you just press triangle and circle when you powerup the ps2 and youll get into the chips menu. the first opitino is to change the video output change that to pal and all is good, every ntsc game will now show in pal format. meaning your tv should work. i think you cna do this wiht other mod chips too but id ont know how
