Well to start it off I had a couple DVDs but they got ruined in a flood we had, so i went to download them off the internet from my friend. He said this is the best way to burn a DVD :

    1. Download WinISO, extract the mpeg (or mpg) from the .bin files.
    2. Download Easy Video joiner, join the two mpeg (or mpg) files.
    3. Download WinAVI Video Converter ... Convert file to DVD. (Will result in a folder being placed wherever you choose, named "dvd_0" and will contain two folders: "AUDIO_TS" and "VIDEO_TS")
    4. Download GEAR DVD PRO Mastering Edition, load the "VIDEO_TS" folder into GEAR, then burn.

So I start extracting the mpg from the iso file and then join the two. After that I watch the clip in Windows Media Player just to see if it still worked and it worked like the orginal DVD that I downloaded from my friend.

Well Then I start using WINAVI to changed it to a DVD format and then i burned it with GEAR. When I watched it on my DVD player most of the movie the words/music/shooting went way faster then the picture or a little faster. I tryed it on all my dvd players and ever my computer and still the same thing. I thought maybe it was GEAR and then I tryed NERO and same result. Then I converted the mpg file of the movie to a Windows Media Player formart and AVI format. Both of these on my computer had the same result when I watch the DVD version on my TV. Please somebody help me get this fix, its a pain in the ass :(

Actually this is not the Correct way to Put (S)VCD Bin files on to DVD...well you had it correct up untill you get to the WinAVI Stage because after Joining the 2 Mpeg files into One Mpeg file all you need to do is author the Mpeg file to DVD useing a DVD authoring program because the Files are allready in the Correct format for DVD accept that the audio simply needs to be resampled to 48000hz for it to Be DVD Compliant.....Useing WinAVI Converter just Lowers the quality and Takes up a bunch of Time and Increases the File size...

So after Joining the 2 Files into one Big Mpeg file You just need to load it into a DVD authoring program...I suggest one of these 2 as they are the best for doing (S)VCD"s to DVD...

If the Bin Files are VCD (Video-CD) Bin files then you can use either:
    Tmpgenc DVD Author
    or
    MediaChance DVDLab (Pro)

if the Bin Files are SVCD (Super Video-CD) Bin files you can only use:
    MediaChance DVDLab(Pro)

Both of these Programs will let you add Menu"s and Chapters to your DVD and they will both resample the (S)VCD audio to DVD For you and will NOT re-encode the Files so there is no quality loss and this way you can fit up to 6 (S)VCD Disks/Images on a DVD so you can squeeze a Lot of Video on a single DVD this way.....

    Cheers

Well if the Bin file is a VCD bin file the Mpeg file in the Image will be called "AVSEQ01.DAT" but if the Bin is a SVCD Image the Mpeg file in the Image will be called "AVSEQ01.MPG".....

These programs are DVD authoring programs so they will let you add menu"s to your Movies and add Chapters and when it is does it will Format it all into a "Video_TS" folder which it will then Burn to DVD OR you can Burn the "Video_TS" folder to DVD yourself useing something like Nero in "DVD Video" mode.....

    Cheers

PS: If you look in the Guides section there will be Guides on how to Put VCD/SVCD Images on to DVD useing either Tmpgenc DVD author or DVDLab....
