Hey guys hope this isnt off topic but today i bought a samsung full HD tv ,great deal in power city , but when i set it up at home the reception was bad coming from my Starview,the box super USB, there is a constant buzzing sound and thick lines that run up the screen , i changed the scart to a gold plated 1 and it made a differance in the quility of the picture , but the buzzing sound still there ,i then tryed a 3 pin yellow while and red cable and this improved the picture, but still this buzzing sound , the picture isnt quite right either ,if any1 has had these problems and solved them please let me know ,or if you have any ideas?
is the volume turned up to high on either the TV or the box? Usually a buzz sound is feedback of some sort
yea its feedback alright the volume doesnt really make a differance its the connection even when the box is on mute its buzz's was just tryin to see how ever1 else pluged there box in ,
if the volume is turned right up it will give a buzz or hiss, did you check your settings in the SV menu? RGB is set etc, sounds like a faulty cable or connection Did you try the box in another TV?
yea it worked perfect on the old tv by scart , think im just gonna buy a new box ,move that 1 to a different tv ,do you know whats the best box to plug into a hd tv ?
for me, Kryptview, I have a 42 inch, full 1080 HD and got the best pic from that compared to a SV or others, Cheers
