problem with transfering skins

    i cant figure out how to get the skins on my xbox,i open up flash xp and connect to my xbox but when i go to skins folder on xbox it disconnects me, i dont know if it supposed to be on a specific setting or what. if somebody could give me some steps to take to get these skins on my xbox i would much appreciate it. i have evox +3921 thanks

    how long are you connected before you get disconnected?

    my connections fine until i go to my skins folder but as soon as i go to my skins folder it disconnects me.

    ok i just wondered sometimes if your idle for too long
    is your xbox staying on?
    or is it just the ftp program?
    how are you connected router.hub crossover?
    and what version of flashfxp are you using?

    i think it is the latest version of flashxp and im using a crossover cable, im not having any problems transffering games over to my coputer.

    your xbox c:?

    since im not going from the xbox to the pc is there anything differant i should do going from pc to xbox.

    apart from checking the xbox is still on when you choose this folder the only thing i can think of is completely removing flashfxp off your system and reinstalling it
    or try ws_ftp www.downloads.com type it in the search there fo it
    this sounds more like it could be a software problem

    not as far as i know maybe you should be in passive mode?

    ok i got it over to the skins folder on the xbox but it will not open it because it is a zip file. what should i do

    You cant unzip files on the XBOX hard drive.. You must first unzip them into a folder on your PC then transfer them to the skin directory on your XBOX

    got it working, i just need to know how to delete the zip file that i put in my skins folder on my xbox. thanks everybody

    FTP to your XBOX right click on the ZIP file and then select delete..
