Hi, Im trying to add subs to an avi file but I get an error message when opening the avi file.

"couldnt locate the decompressor for format 'DIV3' (Microsoft High-speed MPEG4 v-3 [hack divx low motion])

Virtual dub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable."

I guess I need a codec but can anyone tell me which one and where I need to put it in my harddrive.

    Thanks in advance.
    Tim
