As the title says when I set the preference to quality in winavi the DVD video and audio mess up. But when the preference is set to speed it's ok?

    What's wrong?

I've always had mine set to 'quality'. Never experienced any problems.

Can anyone think of what could cause this problem?

Maybe you could try completely uninstall and reinstall winavi again?

Trying another program (e.g. VSO) might indeed be a good idea.
