Problem with Wireless Connection

Well I have an Inspiron B130 and I can connect to the internet via the RJ45 cable but not through wireless, even thou the wireless bar and the wireless computer that appers in the little box down says they are conected they dont flash (The little computer) also sometimes when im connected throu RJ45 if I leave and try to enter again I cant and this is causing me lots of troubles trying to find a way to fix this. Can anyone help me with this, I will gladly appreciate it.

 

My fathers computer has this problem, I find it easiest to just reboot the troublesome computer.

 

Is there another way to fix it? Cause I dont have the CD to reformat it.

 

Honestly, since I don't know the cause of the problem I couldn't accurately tell you if reinstalling would fix the problem.
