I just wanted to see if anyone could help me, i have a wireless router that obviously allows me to gain a wireless connection around the house, i have a connection that goes into a modem (supplying the internet) and then a connection from the modem to my router, the problem is that in the past few months, my internet just seems to cut out, and then when i go to look at my router downstairs, rather than several lights flashing on the routers display there is only one light flashing that says modem next to it (therefore my conclusion is that the modem works fine) all other lights that flash on there when its working have now gone off, so i have to turn the modem and router on and off again and try connect upstairs again. The connection can cut out at any time, sometimes it works for hours without cutting out, other times 5 minutes.

I hope somebody can help me.

    Many Thanks

    Matthew

What model is your router, and who is your broadband provider?

    Actually where are you based?
