i would like to have 5.1 dolby surr to my xbox.I have 5.1 speakers without amplifier but they haven't optical/coaxial input/output.Exist any optical adaptor that i can connect with my 5.1speakers?What else can i do to have dolby surround sound?please give me a hint
First off, your posting in the wrong forum. Second, do I understand you correctly when you say you have 5.1 speakers(6 speakers) but no amplifier? If this is the case there is no way for you to listen anything with these speakers. You are going to need a receiver with optic input/s in order to get surround sound from the XBox. There is a mod that will allow you to use a digital coaxial cable instead of an optic, but again you need a receiver with this kind of an input.
