Problems booting PC

    about a week ago my PSU burnt out in my pc....i just installed a new one and every time i boot up right after the windows screen it restarts itself....about 5 times in a row....one time it went to the user screen and when i clicked my name it restarted again...i now have it booted in safe mode and it is fine....what could be the problem here?

    press f8 at post screen to bring up menu the has safemode & others then select last known working configuration. also try a system restore to before the psu crapped out.

    Ouch man, it could be so many thing. When a PSU burns out, it can kill anything it's plugged in with. For a start, I'd reset my BIOS. If you still can't boot, unplug every unneeded component of your PC, see if you can boot. Also, try another hard drive, because it might have corrupt your drive.

    well i restarted out of safe mode and now it seems to be fine...hopefully it will stay stable...thanks for the help
