I am having a problem after copying my original disc when it comes to writing to my blank one message comes up saying file is too big would you like to continue yes then i get a message that says something like I/O out of bounds and wont let me continue any further any sugestions.
You probably need to use a program such as DVD Shrink or CloneDVD to compress movie to a suitable size to fit on a DVD5 disk (approx 4460Mb).
Colw is right. If the DVD you're trying to backup is a double layered one then you'll have to compress or shrink the file to fit a 4.7 disc, unless you are using DL blanks.
here are 2 member favorites that will shrink a movie to fit onto a blank DVD5: 1. AnyDVD + CloneDVD2.... download free 21 day trial here: Link here is a guide for you: http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/TheGuides/BACKUP WITH CLONEDVD&ANYDVD.pdf 2.
