hi, iv been asking everyone to help me with my problem burning disks and no one seems to help me, so i thought id try! iv been wanting to burn my video files so that i can play them in a dvd player,..........so i got nero 7 ultra, it installed fine, and everything works except when i add a file it goes to the part where it loads it up, but it gets half way through and the whole thing hoes off and takes me to the main menu....iv tried it with a smaller video, that actually got to the burning part, btu then went off half way through that.
so i heard about convertxtodvd to i got that, now that uploads the file fine, and burns fine, then that wont play on a dvd player, even though it says it should....please someone help im tryin to put my sisters wedding video onto disk

Did you burn the disk with ConvertX.

At what speed did you burn the disk?

Does the disk play ok in the PC?

Does your standalone player use the type of disk that you burned, DVD-R and DVD+R?

What kind of file are you converting to DVD? Is it AVI,MPEG???
When you convert it to DVD are you specifying the correct TV format in the settings.
E.G if you live in North America, set as NTSC.

    WMV is fine.
If the burned DVD played on the PC it should play on the standalone player.
Try using IMG Burn on the output folder that you got from ConvertX.

    Run ImgBurn
    Mode > 'Build'
    Output > 'Device'
File > 'Browse for Folder', highlight on the 'VIDEO_TS' folder, > 'OK'
Set it for 4x and click the green write button.

Verify that the disks (DVD+/-R) are acceptable to the player.
