I've searched the forum and can't seem to find anything that specifically adresses my problem. I've downloaded StreamBox VCR Suite 2.0 but can't even begin to capture music videos from launch.com. Specifically this one:

Can anyone (Veblin?) help? Much appreciated.

P.S. I'd also like to apologize in advance for placing this post in the Audio directory of AD, but I wasn't sure where else it would fit, seeing that StreamBox VCR is mentioned here quite a bit and Veblin has an online presence here. So, my apologies. And if this post needs to go elsewhere, please move it.

The Streaming Media Recording Forum which is part of the ezboard forum network is currently having some problems. The entire ezboard network was hacked a few days ago and all information for over the last year is currently lost. We are waiting to see what they can restore before we start rewriting anything that was lost.

StreamBox VCR is one of the best recorders for Real Media streams. It also does still work for many Windows Media streams, though there are other better options available. We had a complete list of software but that is one of the things that is currently lost and will be replaced first.

This is what I would do.
    Download GetASFstream.
    http://webpages.charter.net/veblin/getasfstream2111.exe

    Your video has a ID# of 2141062

Use this redirector URL. The video ID# is at end. Change the vid number to download different videos.
    http://launchtoday.launch.yahoo.com...id=0&pguid=0&origin=0&mf=1&bw=300&vid=2141062

    Paste URL into GetASFstream.
    Click EXEC.
    Click No for Direct Download.
After file is downloaded, rename file as you want it to be named.

That was excellent advice, Veblin. It worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch!
