Hi, im trying to connect my TV to my PC using a S-Video cord. Im using a Nvidia 9500gt video card. When I enable "clone monitor" under nvidia's or windows control panel the picture shows up on the tv for a few seconds and disappears (see video). Im not sure what to do. I successfully hooked another PC to this TV without any problems.

First I would ensure my nvidia drivers are up to date, and test the s-video cable if you aren't 100% sure it's working properly. Secondly I would check to make sure the GPU is outputting the right frequency for the TV.

The switching off automatically confuses me, as it's an analog cable it should constantly output the resolution/frequency no matter if the TV can accept it or not.

I updated my video drivers yesterday, I tried the older ones and then the newer ones, there was no change. I tried to use another S-video cable and the same thing happened. I changed the frequency from 60 hertz to 59, no change. Ive also tried changing resolutions. I just tried hooking my laptop to this TV and it worked fine. The laptop has an ATI card.

Try setting the resolution to 640x480 @ 30htz
