I'm converting mvk files for the first time as I would like to play them on my Mvix MV5000R for the TV and it doesn't support mvk files. I'd like to convert them into .avi preferably, but retaining the hi-def of the original. With Super I tried using an H.264/AVC codec (1008 kbps) with AC3 for the audio (192 kbps, 6 channels). This reduced the original file by about 60%, obviously not in HD quality, and it was still not playable on the Mvix, saying that the video format was unsupported. Is there any way I can convert these into avi whilst keeping the hi-def and making them play on the Mvix? Any help much appreciated. Doug
I don't have anything except the PC to play HD, but what happens if you set Super to output DivX and AC3, with 'No change' on the video and two or six channel on the audio?
