I got some kind of virus in my notebook. Whenever i double click any drive partition it opens 'open with' window and then i can open it by selecting windows explorer n by doing right click it shows unknown characters instead of open, explorer. I tried norton2006 antivirus but it didnt help. Even i re-installed windows but still its doing this on all other drives except C: can any1 plz help me out....

thand krazymale ... i run this exe but it didnt wrk. it opend command prompt and after a while thru msg "done" but no effect at all. still unknown characters when do right click on any drive n by doing double click in open "open with" window....
I had same problem (It was a virus called Copy.exe or host.exe) before and friends suggested this tool for me to remove it and it worked fine after. Try to use it on safe mode!
