    Hi All
Have just unwrapped my DVX6700 (Yamada stand alone player). have no trouble playing most files but just tried one in the format:
    FILENAME.DVDSCR.XviD.AC3.CD1-WAF.avi
    (burnt to cd using nero)
The player shows the filename in the menu screen, but when i try to play it i get audio output only (to my av amp), but i don't get a picture, just the yamada splash screen remains with the counter running.

It plays fine in windows media player.

Any help would be appreciated, sorry if it's an arse of a question - i'm new to all this i'm afraid.
    thanks

    Hi!
I also have the same problem with my LG player. Is a problem with all the divx files wich have in filename "waf".
I know that WAF is a team that rippes DVDs. But why I can't see this files on my DVD player?
As you said, it plays fine in MesiaPlayer.

    If anyone can help us...

    Thanks

WAF if I recall correctly like to upsize their encodes. Your player most likely can't handle a greater horizontal resolution of more than 720 pixels.
