    Hi!

I seem to be having a problem to remove the Nero video/audio encoder codec. I tried converting .avi's to .wmv to play on my pocketPC with a nice little tool called Pocket DVD Wizard 2005. However I didn't get sound on the .wmv's

I then used Sherlock to run a diagnostic on my codecs and it said the Nero codec "Has not been properly removed".

Any idea how I can manually remove it? I guess that codec was bundled with other software I already removed, but the codec keeps lingering in my system!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just to follow up on this: I found the solution:
    - install a trial version of a nero product that uses that codec
    - uninstall the trial version and the codec is also uninstalled.

To manually remove nero codecs go to: c:\program files\common files\ahead

You'll find the Nero codecs there they end with the .ax extension.
