I'm trying to back up a copy of Medieval: Total War, but when I try it, I keep getting disc read errors. I know discs with securedisc that read disc errors are common up to about 10,500, but around 30,000 I start to get them again. When I burn the image to a disc, the installation screen stops but at about 40% of the way though it has an error and has to quit. I'm thinking it's probably my settings, does anyone know what settings I should have enabled or disabled?
Try reading/writing the disc at 4X if you haven't done so already. What make/model drive are you using?
