I've been using Nero 7 premium to burn video files onto Verbatim 16x disc. Normally a 2GB video burnt at 4x speed takes roughly around 8 minutes but now it is taking 50 mins or more. I have'nt change any settings or done anything different in the burning process. Has anyone else found this problem and if so can you help me. My burner is a : HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4164B. Thanx.
You may have communication problems on the IDE bus or your DMA transfer mode has reverted to the slower PIO transfer mode. See below. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
