I used ConvertXtoDVD to convert an avi(XviD) file to DVD. The audio portion of the file is MP3(154 kb/s (77/ch, stereo) VBR LAME3.97 - 48000Hz). I have done this before without issue. After the conversion I went into the VIDEO_TS folder all the vobs were fine with the video and audio synced fine. However when I run the DVD by clicking on the VIDEO_TS Mpeg file(IFO file - which is the file the DVD player will use to launch it) there is no audio stream. So while there is an audio stream contained in the vob's somehow the Video_Ts file omits it when playing the DVD. Any ideas what is going wrong here. I used default settings with ConvertX, no special settings, "Don't fix audio discontinuties" was not checked.
Open the VIDEO_TS folder in DVDShrink for some clues. If the audio file is there re-author, get the title on the left and right click going to 'Set Default Streams' then set it to the audio stream.
Hi there, Provide us a full conversion log. Are you sure the audio stream is not a DTS one ? DTS might play on your PC but will not on your DVD Player, unless you have a digital tuner, ready to play DTS. Is this the case ?
