problems with device drivers

    hi ,
    i lost the sound on my computer and it says there are no audio drivers. when i check my dell folder it tells me i have the audio drivers on my system. when i try to reinstall, the computer says "windows audio service is enabled"i then try to go to device drivers and the page is blank. i wanted to try to roll back my driver but there is nothing there. i also ran a virus scan i am clean what is going on????

    try unistalling the current sound drivers in the dell folder then reinstall new drivers MAKING SURE THAT THEY ARE THE ONES DESIGNED FOR THE HARDWARE THAT YOU HAVE

    hi faq,
    i tried that and it didnt work. i even used updated drivers from the dell website.

    What make and model sound card do you have.
    What is your OS (XP,Vista)
