I have a Pioneer A07 burner. Everything was working fine previously. Now the dvd drive is incorrectly labeled a cd drive and it won't let me burn. I get an error message of D:/ not accessible - Incorrect Function. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I've concluded that I don't have a foggy idea myself. Thanks.

How about giving the computer a system restore?

Do this, it might work. It uninstalls the drive and then installs it back as soon as you restart your PC.

go to the control panel, then to performance and maintainence>system.
Go to the tab that says "hardware" and click on device manager. Look for the place that says DVD/CDROM drives (or whatever yours says). Click on the drive that you are having problems with.
on the top of screen, you should see a computer with a red cross over it. leave the cursor on it for a while and it will say "UNINSTALL". Click it. Afterthat, restart the PC and do the same thing, except dont uninstal it. just check if it is working again.

    Then try burning again.
