Problems With DVD X Copy XPress

DVD X Copy works fine, with both DVD types + or -. Which leads to my problem that started 3 months ago. DVD X Copy XPress it will copy the movie to the hard drive BUT will not burn. YES my burner will write both formats AND duel layered DVDs. Now I have eliminated all software on the black list. I am current with my Windows updates.
Yet still no writing happening. I have written with + and – DVDs for other projects non related to DVD X Copy XPress so I know that it is most likely NOT my optical Drive, I also have 30Gigs free.

Please Help! Do I need duel layered DVDs? Is there a particular brand that works well with my particular burner?
