Problems with DVDBackup

    I have been ripping and burning successfully for several weeks using DVDBackup, DVD2oneX, and Toast 6. However, I have recently started having problems with DVDBackup. As soon as it gets to any VOB files, it tries to convert them without using an encryption key and then gives me an error. The first time it happened, I tried tossing out the preferences file and it worked after that, but since then I have been getting the same message regularly and have had no luck getting it to work.

    Has anyone else had similar problems? If all else fails, I know I can just switch to OSex, but I feel like I had a good thing going and would like to stick with DVDBackup if at all possible. Any ideas?

    Sometimes DVDBackup will not work and you need to use another ripper.

    Dump it...MacTheRipper2 is the new gold standard. Or try FastDVDcopy for a one button solution but not as flexible as having the choices afforded by MTR2>DVD2OneX>Toast6.
