ello all I have came across FF7 for my pc once more. I use to have it but my first 2 disk are gone and 3rd messed up. any hoo i fig'ed i download it. now I got it, It has a read me file on it this is what it say..

    1. Uncompress the whole stuff into to your ROOT directory.
    2. Add ff7.reg to the registry (double click/yes).
    3. Change the label of your drive to "ff7disc1", "ff7disc2" or "ff7disc3", whichever disc you're playing on.
    4. Run Ff7config.exe and configure. (adding ff7.reg again resets these settings)
    5. Run Ff7.exe and enjoy the greatest game ever made!

now my problems are first i have placed it in my c:\ drive so the path is c:\ff7\ i clicked the ff7.reg file clicked yes on it. then hit the okay button after that yes. now the next thing was it says change label. so my c:\drive is named local disk. so the other question is do i rename that to ff7disc1? i did to see and ran the ff7config.exe it worked and let me set it up. but when i tried to play the ff7.exe it says please insert disc 1,2,or 3 I'l like some info on if there is something I can do to get it work'in any good info will be gratful. i'm not ask'in for a cd-crack b/c i was told b4 that this is all i need. it's a 885MB folder. any hoo like I said b4 any info will help out. thanks.

I have the exact same problem,

but some reason it worked before, maybe it was the maximum and standard installation settings that i changed later on,

i insert the actual game disc one and it still says "please insert blah blah blah"
