Hi I'm new to this I have a chipped xbox with a very old version of XBMC. I am trying to transfer some mame roms to the xbox but no matter which ftp I use i always get a timed out or no connection message. Can anyone help? Many thanks
@ jockeyman wtf are you smoking nezza1 take a break for a bit then go back & recheck both the xbox & the computers ftp config,better still start from scratch & reset all networking including xbox passwords & names,i'm on a pc so i assume it uses similar networking method,for direct connection to xbox you need to use a crossover cable no need to disable firewall tho some suggest it however i never do,in the meantime recheck in xbox forum (not 360)use search to find thread on ftp to xbox there's two of them,one has pictures. below are two active websites for the original xbox you'll also be able to get an updated version of xbmc http://www.theisozone.com/ http://xboxisozone.com/
