Does anyone know if i'm missing a change somewhere along the way?? I have been adding new games to the xbox HD recently and they all seem to stall either on there start up screen or a few minutes into the game? Heres some of the games: James Bond: From Russia with Love Land of the dead Rise of the imperfects Fahrenheit Spartan Total Warrior Total Overdose These are just to name a few!!! I'm using Slayer V2.6 auto installer with an XBIT chip and its been perfect up until recently. All my old game work fine just not the newer ones??? I dont use FTP all games are stored on disc and tranfered using DVD2XBOX all on new Ritek G05 discs. Please help guys you never let me down in the past!!!
Those are all newer games, do you have the latest version of dvd2xbox. Maybe some need patches. At the end of the transfer does it say if any files failed to copy, and did the ACL process and patch? Use a file explorer to make sure all is being copied, and not just empty folders and the .xbe.
YEAH IT SEEMS TO BE INSTALLING THE WHOLE GAME THERES NO ERRORS AT THE END AND THE ACL CHECKS OUT OK. I'M BAFFLED HEADS MELTED I JUST WANNA PLAY SOME GAMES LOL!!!
I am also baffled. I haven't heard of any issues with any of these games. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Do they run fine off the dics? Maybe its a corruption issue with going from Retail>DVDR>HD?
I had some problems too but I used xcommander r2g and it worked it took a littlebit more time to add it but it works if it's ready the xcommander r2g is a part of avalaunge and applications so you can't miss it!
