I have been trying to back up Casino Royal using anydvd and intervideo dvd copy. If I use Infiniti DVD-R discs, they won't play, although there is no error messages whilst backing up. If I use a DVD +RW disc (Verbatim), it works no problem. Is this likely to be a software problem or a disc problem? The Infiniti discs work fine in my dvd recorder by the way. Thanks in advace
If you are copying exactly the same files exactly the same way onto the Infiniti discs and onto the Verbatim discs, then the evidence points to the Infiniti discs as the problem. That does not mean that the discs are no good. They might be, but it is also possible they are simply incompatible with your drive. They apparently have no problem with your DVD recorder and are compatible with that. However, if you are copying different files onto the Infiniti discs and the Verbatim discs, then there is not enough information to determine the reason for the problem. You may want to keep the Infiniti discs for the DVD recorder and the Verbatim discs for the computer drive.
