I finally got my usb cable for it (one off ebay) and first tried to install the MPT3 software but it would not detect my phone. I then installthed the 2.16 version and updated it. It detected it for a second but then it stopped. It seems like it can't find the right drivers for it... Any idea what I might be missing?

    Thank You
    Jeff

I cant find the place to update. I have been told to go to MPT's menu and go to update but seams to only go to a web page. It dosnt say latest updates or anything.

I've only been able to find 1 seperate driver for my phone and that was from a different website. I tried to reinitialize the phone and it still doesn't find it...

Is there another place to find the drivers?

    Thanks

Is it a possibility that SP2 could be getting in the way of things? If it still doesn't work, I'll have to look into other avenues. All I really want to be able to do is add a couple ring tones and be able to pull the pictures off the phone.

    Thanks
    Jeff

    First:

Go to the following website to download Mobile Phone Tools 3.11 and install it. Click "Ignore" when it prompts up the warning.

    http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/Motorola.Mobile.PhoneTools.v3.11h.Final.Retail.rar

    Second:

Connect your phone to your computer with data cable. Select the following place for the driver.

    C:\MobilePhoneTools 3.11\Setup\program files\Motorola\mobile PhoneTools\inf

    Third:

Run the MPT software, if it can not find your mobile, restart your mobile (not computer).

    Good luck then.
