I have a Sony MX-R500 Mini Disc recorder/walkman that I haven't used in a year or so, and now when I use it it skips every fews seconds. Is it my walkman, or do I need to buy new MiniDiscs? If this topic is in the wrong forum, I apologize. It's the best suited forum for my question.
have you opened the little tab on the minidisc to see if there's any dirt on it? if so, try a different minidisc. or your problem could be with the player. try getting a can of air and blowing out the inside. If neither of those work, try getting new MDs. I've had my MZ55 for about 5 years, and never had a problem like that.
