    Hi Team,

I followed the guideline posted by Alkohol for burning from AVI mode to DVD using Nero 4. The situation that I have is that the burning process is successfully completed as per the guidelines. When playing the DVD at the DVD player, the movie play great (excellent sound and video image), but after half of the movie being played it suddenly starts to slow down and the audio come first and then the video. There is an out of phase between the audio and the video and the speed reduces. I have tested in different AVI movies and the results are the same. I tested the AVI movies before the burning process and they play excellent at the PC. I'm using a TDK DVD-R 1-16x speed|4.7GB. I will appreciate you help and recommendations. Thank you

Is that playing the disk on the PC or the standalone?

    Hi attar,

It happens when playing the disk on the standalone panasonic dvd player. I haven't run yet the disk in the PC.

Well, try the disc in your PC and let us know how it plays back. If it plays fine, see below*. If not, try using another software and see if you experience similar results. Perhaps DVD Flick.

*It may be worth cleaning your standalone player's lens if possible. You could try a DVD cleaning disc but doing it yourself with a swab/isopropyl alcohol is best.
