leosan88, I want to make sure I understand you correctly. You mean you reinstalled Windows XP and then installed the phone tools? Or you just tried installing the tools a second time and it worked?

If you reinstalled windows, that probably means that you had service pack 2 installed and the reinstallation was XP with service pack 1 or pre-service packs.

Roscoe, I think you are S.O.L. man. Download a free registry cleaner or something to try and clean up your registry. I really have no idea. Note that a registry cleaner might nuke your system. It's never happened to me, however, you have been warned. LOL

WHEW! Kewl man. That is a relief. When you run the mobile tools program, you can download stuff from/to your phone from there. I use the multimedia center part of the tools to do it. Others may have different opinions on how to manage your phone files.
