I bought a pioneer dvr-104 dvd-rw and i put it in my computer but when ever i put a disc in there it doesnt load it up. and also when i click on "my computer" it only says cd-drive. do i need to download a driver or.... please help
The latest firmware flash from Pioneer is v/ 1.41 http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_3424/2005730DVR04v141.exe Hope a flash will bring your Pioneer back 'to the land of the living'. This assumes your burner is installed (jumpered, connected and DMA'd) properly. Regards
thanks. But i went on it and when the ms.dos page came up it started updating then it said "update program is terminated by occuring an error". What should i do about that?
Dunno buddy - maybe take it back to where you got it? It doesn't seem to work... You can get a brand new Pioneer DVR-110 for $49 bucks, L8R
