    Hi,
    I have converted an .avi file to .m2v using CCE, and then movie part works just fine.
    For the sound part I have used VirtualDub to get the whole audio from the movie uncompressed to a .wav file, and then I have used BeLight/BeSweet to convert the audio to .ac3-format.

    I have a sampling rate @ 48.000 Hz
    Bitrate = 256
    Channels = 2

    And then I have authored the whole thing with ifo-edit, but I have also tried with DVD-Lab Pro, and then I get some beautiful .vob-files and so on.

    So far, so good, but then I try to playback the files in PowerDVD and there is no audio? If I try to play it in Windows Media Player or BS-Player there is audio...I just don't understand? :S I'm sure that the audio track is present, and has the right sampling rate and bitrate, and if take a look at the vob-files with AviCodec it says that the sound is "AC3-DVM".

    I have also tried to burn out this on an DVD-R media, and tried to put into a DVD-player connected to the TV, but again there is no sound..but if I take the burnt DVD and play it in Media player or BS-player there is sound? What's wrong?

    So what have I done wrong? If you need anymore details, I can also write them, but I think one or two of you might have tried the same, so please help me :)

    Thanks in advance!

    Well then it seems that the Audio is Somehow getting lost while Compileing in DVDLab....I suggest that you Maybe Just try one more time to Compile this project and see if you have the Same problem of haveing no audio after compileing the DVD...If you do keep haveing the problem I suggest you maybe try a different Authoring program and see if that Program has the same problem or Not....

    Good Luck
