im having some issues softmoodding my xbox. i have 3 xboxes in total. one is softmodded already and networked to my pc. the other 2 are untouched. im trying to use the splinter cell save game exploit to add media centre to the other boxes. the splinter cell i have is the original and is NOT the platinum hits version. i also have a xbox 8mg memorycard. i have downloaded the 2 game saves from xbins and ftp the numbered files in the udata file to my MODDED xbox. i then rebooted the MODDED xbox into the original dash. i then copied the save games onto the memorycard and copied them to the UNMODDED xbox one at a time. all seemed good as i can the saves on the unmodded box. i then booted up my splinter cell game disc and went to start and saved game and the linux save showed up. as soon as i select it the xbox goes to error 21 your xbox requires assistance screen. i have tried this on both of my UNMODDED boxes with the same problem. im not sure of the versions of the xboxes however one is quite old and the other is a newer crystal one. thx
i followed chunkheads guide and it worked. thx alot man. i read and read and read but i needed a straight forward guide. awsome job
