    Hi ppl,

Recently I'm having this annoying little problem with windows shell that drives me nuts.

Firstly, the "Run As" command is missing from the menu when I right click an EXE file.

Secondly, extract commands for WinRar won't work via the right click menu. Those commands are still there, they just don't work. WinRar works fine by itself though.

I'm running an up to date McAfee Internet Security Suite but it can't find any spyware or virus infections in my system. I also scanned my system using ZoneAlarm AV, AdAware LE and SpyBot SnD and all results came out negative.

So, computer pros out there, I'm expecting your help. If you have any clue what might have caused above problems or you know a way to fix them, please post and help.

I really appreciate it coz I use WinRar and "Run As" command a lot.

    Thanks in advance.

The right click menu is called the Context Menu and the problems you describe relate to the handlers (links to what the menu item does when click) being corrupted or conflicted. If you google context menu editor you should be able to find a program that will let you figure out what errors the handlers are having.

As for the Run As menu then again google "run as" context menu has a good few results.
