none of those processors have 6 or 8 gigs of ram on them. go with the i5 as quad core so is faster then the amd quad core & has more ram cache of 6meg compared to 4meg on amd.

    i5-2320 processor http://ark.intel.com/products/53446/

AMD A8-3820 is quad-core APU processor with AMD FM1 socket, 2.5GHz of default clock speed and 2.8Ghz with AMD Turbo Technology, it's also equipped with 4MB of L2 cache. The great thing from AMD quad-core A8-3820 is on-board graphics card, yes, as one of the best AMD APU processors, A8-3820 has been born with AMD Radeon HD 6550 on board graphics card which it has 400 of GPU cores, and 600MHz of GPU clock speed. So, if you want to build cheap budget desktop computer, you can use it for your system and run it without buying add-on graphics card.

I have to agree with ddp on this one, go with the i5 because it's a Quad Core with Hyperthreading compared to the i3 which is Dual Core with Hyperthreading which basically thinks it has 2 more cores, when in reality it doesn't.

And ddp, the 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM they are talking about, I'm wondering if it's a computer model they're looking at and it has that size of RAM installed? I dunno, just a thought..
