i have a dazzle 80 digital video converter and a 17inch monitor and i want to know what is the best capture program that has the biggest screen possibally full screen so i can hook up my ps2 to my cpu and use monitor as screen and possibly record videos.
If you use a Capture program that uses Hardware Overlay then you should be able to resize the Screen to whatever Size you want , Something like InterVideo WinDVR 3.0 uses Hardware Overlay so you can resize the Preview to fullscreen if you want to but with the Dazzle DVC 80 the Picture will look Totally Crappy at Full screen.... Why??? Because the Dazzle DVC 80 has a Max capture resolution of 320+240 which is extremely Low ,Less than 25% of the resolution of DVD and when resized to your Monitors Fullscreen resolution (1024 x 768??) the Picture will get extremely Distorted and Pixelated... If you want Better Fullscreen Image and Capture Quality then you will have to get a Better Capture device(The DVC 80 is a Notoriously Bad Capture device and Rather Old now)...You can Get a Cheap PCI Capture Card that will Capture at Full D1 DVD Resolution for about $25 to $50 on e-bay.....
