I tried to make my vob files work in vobedit and it didn't work. I read somewhere else that it won't work on windows xp, which I have. Are there any other programs that I could use to make my vob files work on dvd?
    Thanks in advance, Bogus

What exactly do you mean by "make them work"? If they're VOB files they should already be DVD compliant. Assuming that's the case you should be able to author them with authoring software of your choice. Depending on what authoring software you use, you may need to demux them to separate video and audio files first. You can use DGIndex to do this.

If you look at the FAQ at the top of the DVD Authoring Forum (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/243219) you'll find a list of DVD Authoring programs, including a few free ones. Before you author with any of them I'd recommend demuxing the VOBs with DGIndex (http://neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html) to get separate video and audio files. I'm going to move this thread to that forum now that I know what you're trying to do.
