Ok so we all know that normally deleting a file is not good enough and more and does not really remove it. So now of course like most other people i use a shredder.
My problem being i only recently have got a shredder what about all the other private files i have deleted which were not shredded. Is there a programme that will completly delete already deleted files?

Also the shredder i use at the moment is not very good any ideas of good one?

    Thanks a lot
    Looking forward to any replys
    Alex

You delete files mate, it goes to the recycle bin, it will show the space that the file has been deleted so you can put more space, as you know you can restore the file by going onto recycle bin and right click the file and presss restore, but if you download something that is bigger and takes that space up, it will automatically delete the file from the recycle bin and it will be destroyed fully, No need for these shreading.

With some programs they will be in the add remove section, C;/program files section and also little bits in the registry, Registry mechanic cleans up the latter part but I always forget to remove the C:/program files entry when I uninstall using windows add/remove programs.

ok, mate there is a programme that will forever delete the file. You all know that even when you delete a file from your recycle bin, it still never leaves your computer,it instead goes to a folder sometimes known as Slack space and hackers can access this information even after you have deleted it from the recycle bin. Don't ask em how i know this...so this programme is called Evidence Eliminator. It is used in courts and has been reviewed in newspapers. I find this a great programme.

    http://www.evidence-eliminator.com/product.d2w

You have to pay for it, but what is stopping you from getting it for Free...(Wink Wink)...

For me in the middle, it says "URGENT NEWSFLASH THURSDAY 13 APRIL 2006 - YOUR INTERNET TRAFFIC IS BEING ROUTED THROUGH THE AMERICAN ISP COMCAST AND SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH UNITED STATES - YOU ARE AT VERY HIGH RISK OF INVESTIGATION!" uh oh lol.

The fact that after files are removed from the recycle bin they can still be recovered should come as no shock to you guys. I thought you were smarter than that!XP Anyways, about the whole 'you are being watched' deal...This information is easily attainable by just about any site unless you take action to keep it from happening. Take it as nothing but a bribe...Buy our ***HARD DRIVE*** wiping program and it will protect you from ***ONLINE SURVEILANCE*** sound like a scam to anyone else?XP
