protect files from deletion

    I was wondering if there was a way to protect files from being deleted from other users (including admin) but while being able to open the files...

    I do not think you can stop the Administrator from deleting files by definition.

    You could always password the Admin account.

    Yes that's true...I had kind of presumed this was for a home PC. But if it's not and on a network at work or something then he won't be able to protect anything from the admin without admin rights etc lol

    Norton System Works installs a thing called a 'Norton Proteced Recycle Bin'. Whenever anyone deletes any file from the recycle bin, it simply gets stored in the 'norton protection'. Although you CAN manually empty this protection from time to time, this will work only locally.
