so it's sept 2005 - does anyone know if there is a good program/crack to unprotect these things so I can put them on CD? I don't really want to do it real time and record it. There should be a way by now I think that someone has developed something to just get around the drm crap... Anyone have the solution?
No, because its still illegal. Your question breaks forum decor! Please don't ask for cracks or assistance in circumventing DRM schemes at this forum.
well, I will not tell you how to break the law because the is illegal. However, sticking to the precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court "betamax case," I will tell you how to back-up your legally owned DRM WMA files. Save your DRM file onto a CD as an AUDIO CD, not as a data CD or as a HighMat CD. When you save it as an audio CD, the DRM is erased! You can then use this CD anywhere CD's are read and not worry about being DRM compliant. You can even re-copy it back on to your computer as unprotected files.
