Try either or both of the following: 1) Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version). 2) Use another media player (e.g. Media Player Classic) for the viewing. Both can be found here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm Good luck!
I haven't had a chance to use the codec yet but really appreciate it man! Should help... glad to see people who don't mind helping!
Yea... I try to help as much as possible too... I looked at the file... cus it still wouldn't play even after the codec install was finished... it said it was in .wmv format but was also .asf format...
@killerc, Ah, this DVD thing, isn't it wonderful?! @Troten, .wmv and .asf are both window media type files. Did you try use Media Player Classic to view?
Dear Troten, If you already have K-Lite Codec pack installed, then it shouldn't be a codec problem (provided you've read the instructions and installed the pack right). But since you mentioned about the license and porn thing, there's also a chance that you've contracted a virus (that's why the porn link). So maybe you could do a check? Good luck!
